Riding Horse/Father's Day Special

Some pictures of the Lindstrom family riding horse (sans Noah of course!) over the last couple days...Some are rather blurry but I couldn't not share some because they were so darn cute! It also happens to be Father's Day as I'm typing this! (Hence all the pictures of Joe and Joseph) So I figured I would share lots of pictures of (2) of my boys... Enjoy!

Splish Splash

Yesterday the boys and I braved the 90+ degree weather and headed to University Park to play and cool off at the Splash Park. We met up with Kristen and Karson for a day of fun and sun (burns). We played at the park for a little bit then the kids took full advantage of the great Splash Park they have. Joseph was a little weary at first and didn't want to go in and get wet right away. I put Noah down and he charged in head on, taking a spray to the face. I thought that would be the end of his splashing adventures but it didn't even phase him. He had just as much fun as the big boys, crawling around getting sprayed and splashed. Joseph took to the water after a short while, not one to be shown up by his baby brother, and seemed to have a great time. We'll definitely be spending more time there this summer, but next time, I'm cloning myself beforehand so one me can watch Joseph (or chase him when he decides he'd rather go play on the slide) and the other me can stay and watch/nurse/hold/play with Noah. I might even add a third clone so at least ONE me can sit and relax in the sun :P

Here's some pictures of our afternoon :)

TRSP

Last weekend we went camping for the day at Turtle River State Park. We joined my aunt, Laurel, and uncle, Scott and their two brown dogs Annie and Wriggly. We did lots of walking, strollering, slinging, chasing, running and laughing. We caught frogs and toads, caterpillars and a spider for Joseph's bug house and had fun with bubbles, squirt bottles, rocks and sticks. We went wadding in the water and even rinsed a stinky baby bottom in the river when we encountered a poopy diaper with no wipes along (talk about primitive!). By the end of the day we had one exhausted dog and two sleepy little boys. We finished of the day with a lovely campfire and yummy nachos! All in all it was a great day!
